Calidas Island

Calidas Island is a volcanically active island located off of Saido 's Warspite Coast on Lake Ejule. Calidas Island rises out of the lake on top of large, sparsely vegetated cliffs. The occasional puff of volcanic gas can be seen finding its way out of the numerous volcanic vents the dot the island. From the lake itself not much can be seen of what the island hold apart from a small dock and wooden walk way that snakes up the cliffside. While little can be seen from the water level, in actual fact this island is home to the Calidas Island Day Spa and Thermal Pools that utilise the naturally occurring hot springs. Once one reaches the top of the cliffs a large crater can be seen that occupies roughly 80% of the island. This crater is filled with many thermal pools, is dotted with gazebos and sunbathing platforms all while snaking wooden walkways weave throughout the landscape. Around the rim of the crater are a number of elegant wooden and stone buildings belonging to the Day Spa. Calidas Island is private property and can only be accessed through the services of the Calidas Island Day Spa and Thermal Pools.
