Hale Ballant
Hale Ballant, the younger half-brother of the fearless and adventurous Alice Ballant, had a vastly different upbringing. Unlike his sister, who sought the thrill of the open seas and the unknown, Hale grew up within the opulent confines of the Lords' Light mansion, under the care of his mother and stepfather.
Hale's life was one of luxury and comfort, shielded from the harsh realities that often defined the outside world. His mother and stepfather, both goliaths, provided him with every material need and indulgence. However, Hale's existence was marked by a unique heritage – his biological father, an elf, remained absent from his life, leaving him a blend of two distinct races: half-elf and half-goliath.
A self-proclaimed party boy, Hale revelled in the extravagant lifestyle his upbringing afforded him. He became a fixture in the vibrant entertainment suburb of Lords' Light, known as Crystalia, where he could be found enjoying the finest offerings of the city. Yet, his penchant for revelry extended beyond the Lords' Light walls; he was also a regular attendee of the legendary forest raves held in the Arboridge suburb of Treetops.
Hale's openness extended to his personal life as well – he proudly embraced his identity as a gay man, unapologetically expressing his true self. Despite the disparities in their life choices, Hale maintained a close bond with his sister Alice, admiring her courage and spirit even as he pursued a markedly different path.
