The Great City of Laststar

The Great City of Laststar is a huge city that is generally considered to be the centre of the world. To understand why the Great City of Laststar is so great we need to go back to the beginning. In the Age of Separation there existed many city states of which Laststar was one. These city states were seperated by what would be considered by todays standards, unimaginably large swathes of open land and forest. After The Unification Wars were in full swing and the surrounding areas had been subjugated the expansion of the newly incorporated cities had already began. As the victors of The Unification Wars the City of Laststar was established as the new capital of the new world and redubbed The Great City of Laststar where the High Lord Emperor would eventually rule from. The Era of Unity ushered in an age of peace and prosperity that drove the expansion and encroachment of the cities into overdrive. The natural landscape was consumed and forever changed.

The Great City of Laststar is now the largest city in the world, its borders crash into it neighbours, there is no space between now. At the very centre of the city is the district of Lords' Light, which once in the past the entirety of Laststar, where the Dawnstar Church and many important people and organisations can be found. From this central point the other districts spread out radially.

In the Great City of Laststar all types of people, cultures and religions can be found. This is truly a triumph and demonstration of the benevolence of The Truth of Pholtus.
