Todo Kimota (トド キモタ To-do Ki-mo-ta)
Todo is a former Keihin Gang officer who chose to leave the gang after witnessing the death of his best friend, who had been fanatically devoted to the gang. Todo's upbringing was humble; he was raised by a single mother after his father died of cancer when Todo was just a child. His mother, a dedicated teacher, cared deeply for him.
Unfortunately, she suffered a stroke when Todo was a teenager, leaving her wheelchair-bound and reliant on other family members for care. These family members despised Todo for his dimwitted nature and lack of academic prowess, in contrast to the rest of his academically successful family. Despite his intellectual shortcomings, Todo was hardworking and aimed to start a career in the construction industry.
However, Todo's life took a turn when he was expelled from school and disowned by his family, who abandoned him against his mother's wishes. Forced by his circumstances, he joined the Keihin Gang. After the death of his best friend, he met and befriended Yamada Nagaoki, whose ambitions inspired him. Todo decided to help Yamada create the fair and dedicated organization that became the current Gangbusters.
Todo's neglect and overall experiences, along with his detachment from his family and the tragic events in his life, led him to become an alcoholic. This addiction transformed his gentle and caring soul into the raging force that now leads the Gangbusters' divisions in Yorichio.
Fighting Styles
Todo is a tall and fear-inducing fighter, well-versed in various weapons. He predominantly uses two different fighting styles, each incorporating his weapons. His Power Style, which he calls "Brawler," is a blend of street fighting techniques that combine boxing punches, karate kicks, judo throws, and various other moves. In this style, he uses his Same Kada, daggers, and a giant wooden odachi. In contrast, his Speed Style, which he refers to as "Boxer," primarily employs unarmed techniques but occasionally includes a stun baton. This speed-oriented style is inspired by kickboxing, characterized by an upright stance with a high guard. The style emphasizes speed and footwork, known for its ability to stun enemies with Dempsey Roll-like bursts of relentless blows.
