LuVen North Grower
LuVen, a moderately sized, semi-tropical continent is well known for it's fine wines.
In particular, the strong but sweet grapes of the northern coast are renown for their full and vibrant flavor when used to produce fortified wine. Of the largest North Grower vineyards, the 6 most famous brews are:
North River Rouge Sucré - Acidity is bright, and the wine has tart, juicy black fruits. Herbs and black Isheif add nuance, while chewy tannins persist in a lingering finish, which is rich in stony mineral notes. Produced by the Welventil Family, a Halfling line from the Ven Regality.
Le crâne Blanche - This bottle has green apple, white peach, and lemon notes, followed by a lasting, crisp finish. Dry and age-worthy. Produced by the Rodon Estate, a Dwarven family from the Free Republic.
Vin de pièce d'or - A fine wine with a crushed or rolled gold coin within the bottle. With dark berry aromas, followed by dried herbs and floral notes. Bright and energetic on the palate, with spicy tannins, this is a polished wine capable of aging. Produced by the Westwind vineyard, owned by the Cheep-cry Aarakocra family in the Free Republic.
Vin de lézard bleu - This blueish colored wine is intensely aromatic, with flavors of dark fruit, leather, olives, and herbs. Grippy tannins work alongside racy acidity. Produced by a family of Lizardfolk called the Rivière, who live within the Ven Regality.
Beauté des Vignes - The wine has an opulent mouthfeel and expressive nose with freshly cut green apples, dried salted nuts, and golden honey notes. The palate is equally rich, with a faint saline backbone and persisting finish. Produced by a circle of druids called the Vinekeepers in the Non-Ven Magocracy.
Venin doux de Serpentae - With a snake egg floating in the fluid, this rare wine is avoided by some, but loved by connoisseurs. With a mix of tart cranberry, strawberry, and cherry fruits. Earth and savory herbs come through as well, adding depth and complexity. The palate is similar to the nose — light, lip-smacking, and savory. Produced by a noble human family known as the Barone, from the Ven Regality.
