Mirin
This sweet alcohol is created by fermenting rice. It is extremel popular in The Grand (East and North).
Manufacturing process
Rice is mashed in boiling water, then cooled. The resulting fluid is strained, 3 times for purity, then collected in small clay or glass bottles. These bottles are capped with wax, then left to sit and ferment for 3 to 5 weeks. After this time it can be drank, but it is typically left to age for a better flavor.
Significance
A traditional drink within the Hi-No Hitobito, Hobgoblin kingdoms.
