Feric Crystal

Feric crystal is can be found in nearly any nation. It is usually a translucent white crystal with thin veins of opaque white, yellow, or other pastel hues. The crystal tends to be very brittle and weak and is usually found as thin layers on rock, growing like moss.
Feric crystals do not have any particular artifice affinity, but they do have the interesting property of having enchantments fade over time. If prepared a certain way, an enchantment might last only a day or so, then it is ready for another enchantment. This makes it popular among student artificers but not popular for final projects.
