Kenku

Kenku are a scattered race of avian-like people who resemble corvids. Kenku are wickedly clever, fantastic at mimicry, and can be found in most underground or black market societies. Sadly, kenku cannot speak their own native language. Instead, virtually all kenku mimic the sounds and words they’ve heard to an incredible degree of accuracy. Some scholars believe kenku to be related to aarakocra, maybe those who survived a cloud city’s fall. There are various legends of why the kenku cannot speak in their own voice (the most popular being that of the The First Flame and the Kenku), but no one truly knows.
