After Recieving communications from local imperial guard forces that the shifting sands of Pulvis II-D had revealed a variety of ancient relics and strange technology, the Solar Reavers were dispatched by the Inquisition to investigate the world. Upon their arrival, the Solar Reavers encountered a warband of the Emperor's Children, who had been torturing and killing civilians in their search for unearthed artefacts; skirmishes broke out between the Solar Reavers and the Emperor's Children near Shukurkalay, after the Reavers triggered traps laid previously by the chaos warband. Despite taking losses, the Solar Reavers reportedly overcame their enemies initial assaults and pushed onward, later discovering an Iron Warriors contingent on the planet that was working alongside local forces, and after careful consideration decided to temporarilly ally with them to form a united front against further Emperor's Children incursions. The Pulvis campaign continued for a time in a bitter stalemate, with additional skirmishes breaking out between the combined forces of the Iron Warriors, Solar Reavers against the Emperor's Children until finally a particularly intense battle saw the Iron Warriors attempt to escape the conflict with several relics in their possession. The Solar Reavers were quick to respond however, and interruped their plans, reclaiming the relics and extracting them successfully.In Real Life

Hanibal Cruor contacts the Solar Reavers to appraise them of their designated mission and the delicate nature of the task ahead. "Pulvis II-d, a desolate dune world that has remained on the fringes of the Imperium's attention for millennia, a planet of seemingly little significance given our records fail to include its previous name. We recently received word from the local guard forces that hidden relics from a bygone era have been unearthed after several years of violent shifting sands. The Inquisition is keen to investigate, and we are their sword and shield in this endeavour. We know not the nature of this technology, but we must secure it for the Imperium's benefit. However, as we descended towards the planet and established communication with local forces, a distressing revelation came to light. Two other Space Marine units, brother Chapters, are currently locked in brutal conflict upon the planet's surface. This complicates our mission significantly, for our sacred duty as Adeptus Astartes mandates that we engage in diplomacy and coordination with our fellow Battle-Brothers. But never the less we must approach this situation with caution and secrecy as our prescence on this planet may only complicate matters, worst still being misidentified as the enemy. Prepare yourselves, brothers, for Pulvis II-d holds secrets, challenges, and a destiny yet unknown. We are to land near the local Imperial Guard forces to assess the situation. LORE DATE: UNKNOWN - REAL DATE: 09/09/2023 - GAME: ARMA 3 After a swift advance southward, our valiant forces, in the true spirit of the Emperor's wrath, encountered stubborn cultist resistance in the accursed lands of Khushab. The vile heretics fell like chaff before our righteous fury, yet their defenses delayed us enough to uncover no substantial intelligence. Determined, we pressed on, leaving only death and ash in our wake as we journeyed further to the forsaken town of Shukurkalay. Upon reaching Shukurkalay, the horrifying truth of the cultists' malevolence revealed itself as they mercilessly assailed innocent civilians. Regrettably, we could not prevent their demise, and thus, we made the heart-wrenching decision to divide our forces. Marauder, stalwart and unyielding, fortified the Eastern road, while Odin, unflinching in his resolve, thrust westward. Our pursuit bore fruit in the form of two critical pieces of intelligence, one alluding to disintegration weaponry, and the other detailing the nefarious movement of supplies towards an enemy bastion. Reunited, we forged onward to the final objective, unaware of the heretical traps set in our path. Alarms blared as we triggered their treacherous devices, summoning the wretched Emperor's Children to engage us in a desperate counterattack. Though our forces suffered grievous injuries, the unshakable will of the Adeptus Astartes prevailed. We repelled the traitors and reclaimed the objective, securing the blasphemous mine.
