Armaeus the Savant

Born to a nobody family in southern Ostroalogoth, Armaeus grew up poor as a farm hand with his family. In his spare time, he would sculpt things out of butter and clay or fix broken tools around the farm. Eventually he was sold to as a tribute from his families farm when they could not produce a bountiful enough harvest and was turned into a vampire by Count Strahd von Zarovich. Armaeus was sent to the far away lands of Jezero to act as a leader of a new colony of Clan Sangerare, but after starting the new colony, was banished by the leadership for being a weak willed traitor and had his tongue cut out so as to never tell anyone of what had happened. In an act of revenge, Armaeus joined force with House Balth and had the underground colony built over, doomed to live just out of reach of sustenance and in eternal darkness.

As a professional, Armaeus is the single most diligent craftsperson in the known world and will happily work on any project handed to him. His ability to craft, sculpt, build, tailor, machine, etc is unparalleled and given a massive deal of respect and admiration by those who dabble in his ocean. Armaeus is often cited as a patron Saint of Sune, Goddess of Love and Beauty for his love of craft and expertise.

During the The Devil War, Armaeus helped The Fellowship of the Concordant find and expel the lost colony of Clan Sangerare and crafted Vinagreet a custom portable canon, "handgun". Later on, he was freed of his vampirism by Vinagreet and converted to Suneism.

After the The Devil War, Armaeus left Tacasa and went to live in Ingilstram until Lord Boehemmed returned. He chose Ingilstram as a place where his talents would appreciated.
