Friendly Irwin

Raised by Leonard Oswald, Irwin was bred and raised as a sheepherder in The Galloping Hills. As the runt of the litter, Leonard raised Irwin with sheepherding dogs to try and imprint helpful behaviors onto Irwin. Irwin's early learned behaviors were to protect animals and people alike and was trained just like the dogs.   The first time that Leonard was attacked by a band of brigands looking for an easy fleecing, it seemed one of the Gods was watching and favored his life as Friendly Irwin began to swell with power. Irwin was bestowed tremendous power and magical capabilities by an unknown god, and with this power Irwin tore into the brigands in a way that would later be described by the coroner as "clearly the work of some sort of demon god". This power seemed to only activate when those that Irwin loves were in some sort of danger making his power a dangerous secret weapon to those foolish enough to attack the Oswald Family.   Modern day Irwin can be found travelling with Odessa Oswald and her husband Altan Oswald. Irwin never did grow up to be intelligent or strong independently of his blessing, but that's part of what makes him such a great travel companion; he's smarter than a dog or monkey, but still trained and docile enough to not make any big moves without the OK of his masters.   Irwin when not enraged is roughly 20 feet tall, a little larger than the average Couatl, but when enraged grows 10x his size; his strength seems to grow exponentially depending on the danger presented to him.
