Onyria
Barikduul of Stahn is the Thane and local ruler.
One of the 5 great dwarven strongholds across the world, Onyria is most famous for their world renowned mead hall, The Drinking Dragon and their stellar observatory, Big Blue. The only noble houses in the city are House Grachi and House Tolani, with the others no longer keeping a permanent residence. Onyria was initially a mining colony in the far north for precious gems and has remained a steady supplier of the most precious and rarest gems in the world before transforming into the cultural center for the dwarves. Home to the worlds first "train", Onyria has a complex mine cart system that acts as a shuttle or ferry to the townspeople, connecting a large city by cart. There are several gatehouses that connect the local mountainside and mining colonies to the main city hub which is also a military defense to ward off those who would bring harm. Becketshire is also connected by cart due to the work of Yamshe Abop.
The inside of Onyria is a miracle of architecture, with ceilings vaulted up to 3000 meters tall. Although the city reaches incredible heights, most things past 1500 meters are monuments to various gods and experiments in engineering, like the worlds oldest aqueduct. The city is about 15 square miles if including the gatehouses and mining colonies, and the central hub is about 1. The primary exports are made up mostly of miners, artists and caterers serving up top foods to the country. The defense and weaponry is limited and expensive due to the scarcity, but by no means absent.
