Gresikan (gres-y-kan)

Gresikan, the City of Grains sits on the fringes of the Kingdom of Leein's borders, deep within the Goldengrain Plains. It is a city founded on farming the wheat of the plains and transforming it into works of art. A stroll through the main thoroughfare allows one to take in the smells of the city, fresh bread mixed with fruits.
You are nearing Gresikan once you see dozens of windmills appear over the horizon and hear the snorting of the giant boars used to mill the fields. Once in the city, take a trip to one of many bakeries or stop by the Brightsun Distillery before continuing further into the Kingdom of Leein.

Government

They are primarily ruled by the First Order of Seven Queens, though the Second Order maintains a strong presence throughout the city. Together they organize both the growth and taxation of goods within the city and defense of both Gresikan and the Kingdom of Leein.

Defences

The city is surrounded by stone walls and a moat. Additionally the flat fields surrounding the city and the farms create a high visibility area surrounding the city with no easy line to charge at the city walls. Beyond that, the Boar Riders are experts in fighting within these conditions and are trained on hit and run tactics to harass and wear down enemy forces before they get close to the city.

Industry & Trade

Gresikan exports a ton of bread product, both long lasting for rations and high quality breads filled with fruits. There is also a small batch of blueberry and cranberry beer/vodka produced and exported each year.

Guilds and Factions

The First Order of Seven Queens manages the farmers, land, a fair market, and taxation on goods passing through the city.
The Second Order of Seven Queens maintains a presence of guards and specalized warriors colloquially called Boar Riders.
The rest of the Seven Orders are present to manage the rest of the minutia within the city and provide services to foreign ambassadors of their respective Orders.
