Kingdom of Leein

The Kingdom of Leein is a resource-rich region, covered in lush wilderness and expansive forests ruled over by Earls. The capital is nestled in a mountain range, with a forest surrounding the other side.
The kingdom is ruled by a royal family, which has been in power for over a thousand years. The surrounding cities are ruled by nobles or people of influence appointed by the current ruling couple. And within the city, and their armies are made up of a very large class of minor nobility who make up a traditional medieval knight class.
Nobility is a highly valued trait, with knighthood being the next most respected occupation.
The architecture uses lots of roughly hewn wood and stone, and many of their buildings are built into the hillside and cover their roofs with moss as insulation, water absorption, and additional feed for their goat population. Many buildings use stone to build the base of their outerwalls and wood for their roofs, front facing walls, and interiors, or are entirely wooden. The uses lots of peaks in their design, often incorporating the gods into the building designs. These buildings are complimented with bright paints and many freestandings works of art that make the whole city glow brightly.

Structure

The kingdom is ruled by a royal couple, with Jarls ruling the other cities of the kingdom and act as advisors to the royal couple.

Culture

The citizens of Leein believe that beauty triumphs hardship, they focus on the here and now, innovating to further beautify and improve the world around them.
