The Windfall

A region where wind behaves as water, and is heavy. It is a dangerous frontier that attracts the attention and the death of many adventurers.
A lot of the fauna are jellyfish-like; trying to preserve energy by letting the windfall take them to food.
This region was once dense with marshes, sprawling hills, and protected by a mountain range.
The ruins of the Yigerin Dynasty are scattered throughout the Windfall. Those on the surface worn to dust, but more substantial ruins persist in the chasms wrought by the the Great Reshaping.

Geography

Rocky cliffs, valleys, wide open plains, and hills span a highly vertical landscape. Much of the ground is rocky and plant life is limited to shrubbery and grasses.

Localized Phenomena

Wind currents move though the hills and valleys in a fashion similar to water, this phenomena is known as windfall. Windfall has eroded much of the environment and has forced much of the local fauna to adapt to live underground or in the air.

Fauna & Flora

The flora consists of grasses, shrubs, root vegetables, and small flowers. The fauna consists of large families of gophers and groundhogs living within expansive underground caves, and large birds that nest on top of hills.
