Gregor Churich

The man who used to be the second-in-command of the Church of Solstice, and right hand of Equinox. When Equinox was sealed away with his help he then heralded the direction change of the church and turned it into the organization known as the Alchemist Guild.

Personal history

Gregor was a young man when the gods had left the world. He and many people felt abandoned by the sudden abandonment and wanted to get payback against the gods. He, and a group of others, decided they would create and worship a god of their own make and created their own religion. After a few years, their god appeared before them and the fruits of their spiteful labor paid off in a magnitude they never thought was possible. After a few years of active works by this new god named Solstice, who was named for the darkest period of people's lives as well as the summits of brightness as well, he had a son Equinox who would bridge the gap between man and god as he was created from both the divine and mortal realms.
Solstice, after many years, was cast out of active works and a material body by the followers of the other gods, and so Equinox was the head of the church in his stead. Equinox, having recognized Gregor's devotion to the church and the part he played in Equinox's existence, bestowed upon him near equal power over the church along with other blessings of Gregor's choosing.
After some years of research done in the name of the church's original goal - spiting the gods - Equinox and Gregor had discovered a potential way for Equinox to become a god. The actions necessary would be to kill all the other demigods. This would prove difficult considering all the other demigods were older and more experienced combatants than Equinox, but he did have one thing in his favor: the surprise of killing the others and audacity to follow through. Gregor helped every step of the way, but grew increasingly conscious of his guilt.
On Equinox's fight with Garvhoz, Gregor turned against the son of the god he helped create. He had called upon powerful magics and sealed him out of existence. He now works as the head of the Alchemists Guild.

Is guilt ridden by the part he's played in the murder of almost all the demigods.
