Gray
People whose home is west of Aviagard. All grays native of the land to the west who migrate to Aviagard come bearing near to nothing in terms of information regarding their last home.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Unfortunately, grays who have migrated to Aviagard do not have tongues. Whatever they may have sounded like before they made the trip east is a complete mystery, but the offspring gray people are unnaturally adept at mimicking sounds, and performing various linguistic feats many would have to practice to achieve.
All grays understand Avirian, and have developed their own sign language that is taught to them once they make their way to some of the west most gray settlements.
Common Etiquette rules
Grays have very close knit relationships to their family and can usually be found going about their day in synchronous symbiosis where their actions don't impede another's and usually ends up being beneficial somehow. The synergy they create through their bonds are unlike any others out there.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Many of the grays who migrated to Aviagard follow a tradition before going to sleep that avirian-born grays do not observe. A gray will light a candle on a shrine, of which is made of only a picture frame, a river stone, and said candle, and sit in silence before the candle. Some sit for just a few moments, others sit for hours before finally going to bed.
It's not know why this tradition is held only by the migrants and not the avirian-born grays.
