Alayna Bloodsworth is the current as well as the 12th Grand Master Swordsman of Lithania, considered by all
the strongest "Weapon" Eastern Tymora has to offer the material plane. Belonging to the ever long lasting Bloodsworth
bloodline, Alayna is one of the most prominent of her lineage. Although being one of the strongest in her bloodline, Alayna
doesn't outwardly seek many fights or action due to her oath to the sword. Even when fighting some of the strongest foes,
she'll try to fight to spare their life if possible.
History
Early Life
From a very young age, Alayna was seen as the Bloodsworth families last and most treasured of their Bloodline. She was especially treasured by her mother and father. Her mother, Anastasia Bloodsworth, was keen on raising her to take up the sword as she once did and as tradition in the Bloodsworth family. Alayna gained her divine powers at the age of 4 and by age 5 she was practicing the sword in order to become the grand master swordsman of Eastern Tymora. She was trained by the former leader of the Royal Guard, Frances Valentina Belvedere. Alayna Bloodsworth was always described as a very sweet and often timid child. She was more shy as a child and was reserved. Throughout her early years she was usually seen roaming together around the city of Bloodsworth and talking to the locals with her mother. Her mother would read her stories of great heroes, as well as the stories of their bloodline. Alayna was always entranced in the stories and wanted to live up to the heroic nature of the knights she would read about with her mother. Alayna grew to view her mother as a living legend/tale. At age 9, Alayna's brother Isadore Bloodsworth was born. That same year her mother and father both passed away in a conflict over seas. Although saddened by the loss of her mother and father she didn't let it change or stop her from achieving her goals. Belvedere even remarked that in fact, it made her even more motivated to be just like her mother. At age 10 Alayna defeated the Royal Guard Members in a dual, even besting Belvedere himself, becoming the commander of the Royal Guard at age 10. This led to all of the Royal Guard and even the noble houses political allies to despise her secretly. The council of the Lithanian Empire all despised Alayna from her very introduction to the Kingdom's Court. They all deemed her as dangerous and too naive for the position. Although their hatred was secret, Alayna could feel the hatred for her. The Royal Guards and the nobles that hate her often remark her kindness as her weakness and usually insult her slyly whenever given the opportunity and try to annoy her on purpose. Although put off and even annoyed at times herself she usually replies with a smile and in a kind manner, which annoys her opposers even further. Alayna stayed very close with her brother and would do the same for him as her mother did for her. Most even regularly would call Alayna his mother for how much she looked after him like he was her own child. Her brother Isadore was as talented as she was and was destined to be the Master Swordsman due to him being the youngest. However Isadore willingly gave up his position to his sister because of how much he endeared her. In return she made him the leader of the Royal Guard.Appearances In The Story
Hollows Landing Campaign 1
Alayna didn't make an appearance in Hollows Landing until much later into Chapter 1 of campaign 1. Outside of a few name drops she didn't serve much significance to the plot until Arc 7.Arc 7 "The Secret Alliance"
Alayna debuted in Hollows Landing's first campaign, specifically Arc 7 when the party decided to travel to Bloodsworth following the events of the Festo Arc. The group stumbled upon Alayna after leaving Central on their way back to the Hayes household. She was introduced saying goodbye to a group of children whom of which she played with throughout the day during the New World Festival. She introduced herself and was invited to dinner at the Hayes household where it was revealed that she used to do often.Physical Description
Facial Features
Alayna has always been known to have a face on the softer side, although she is 32 she looks as if she were
to be in her early 20's. With no scars or any defining features to her face, she has been remarked as having the face
of a baby. The most notable detail about her face however is her scarlet red eyes. Many consider them alluring due to their
unnatural color which is a prominent trait of the Bloodsworth family.
Identifying Characteristics
The features that stand out the most about Alayna Bloodsworth are her red eyes. Most of the time these are the most distinctive features of a Bloodsworth.
Special abilities
Alayna Bloodsworth is one that possesses a multitude of abilities at her disposal due to her training
as a Sword Master. She possesses abilities that even some of the greatest swordsman
can only dream of achieving.
Precisive Defense
This is one of Alayna's Legendary actions, in it she is able to parry almost any melee/physical attack. The ability allows her for a certain amount of time to see every possible move an enemy can make and parry it before the move connects. This is a standard ability that most Swordmasters can have.Ultimate Decisive Blow
This is Alayna's strongest ability, its strength trumps its predecessor by a long shot. This ability allows Alayna to absorb the mana in a given area. The longer she charges it the more powerful the coming strike will be. With this ability the world is temporarily destroyed and reborn a new in that instant. The ability destroys the very mana of things itself which usually results in whatever was on the recieving end to be entirely decimated. She doesn't use this move often however, due to it potentially harming allies in the area of the swing and those who are injured can perish as it takes ALL the mana in the surrounding area which can include the portion needed to live. Any sword that uses this ability is instantly destroyed, The only exceptions being either a Titan Sword or a Dragon Sword.Apparel & Accessories
Alayna dawns a similar apparel as the knights of the Royal Guard, However the outfit differs mainly in the core.
Unlike the Knights outfit, Alayna's coat acts more so as a cape and has special properties that protect
Alayna from magical attacks due to her being vulnerable to them without it.
Specialized Equipment
Sword Of Lithania
Alayna's main weapon is the Sword Of Lithania. Although she never had to use it shes dawned it since she became the master swordsman of the East.Mental characteristics
Morality & Philosophy
Alayna has the philosophy that life itself is precious, she tries to spare all enemies, even those who are undeserving of her mercy. If she views a foe as too dangerous to be left alive however, she will execute them.
