Arcane Hall of the Great University

• The Arcane Hall is one of the many halls (faculties) of the Great University.
• Each location is overseen by a Quant, with an elected chair representing the Arcane Hall at all formal occassions. There is no known limit on the time the chair can preside over the Arcane hall, although each election period is for 10 years.

• The Arcane Hall, along with many other arcane centres of learning in Semudan (the "Towers") were targeted in the uprising of the Revelation against the Sovereign Host, as well as being dragged into the Palanquin War by reason of their access to great deals of arcane knowledge, magical devices and secret lore.
• Many within the Arcane Hall have loyalties to the Towers they originally studied with and this has further complicated events, as even though the Arcane Hall has officially proclaimed neutrality, many of its member shave renoubced their neutrality and declared for their former Tower
