Djinn Hold

Djinn Hold covers 1,400,000 km2 and receives so little rain, it is effectively a desert although it does range from dry savanna in the north-east to dester plateua further south and west where it collides with the Cishi Rift.   Rainfall varies from 500 mm of average annual rainfall where it borders the Ishandi to 100mm where it borders The Furnace   While not necessarily devoid of vegetation, there are large areas where vegetation is very limited in height or extent.   Highly supernatural and buzzing with arcane & divine energies, the Djinn Holds are dangerous to unprepared or unwary travellers. No long term hominid settlements exist except at the very edge of the Djinn Holds.
