Wonambi

The Wonambi are the mountains on the western side of the Blasted Erg and eastern edge of the Somar.
Lush and rainforest covers the gentle western fringes, however rises in height, with snow capped peaks above ever increasingly dry terrain the further east the mountains travel.
Long dormant volcanoes have become active again in the past decade.
Wonambi is also the name of a Yurlunggur splinter, a connection not missed by arcanists.
