Safaar Qosaariya eld-Sadek is a Qartagonian female gold dragonborn champion and sultana of the United Qartagonian Army. As the sultana or general of the United Qartagonian Army, she leads the combined forces of the Qartagonian Emirates and is widely respected and feared as the face of the Qartagonian states and their people.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Safaar is short for a dragonborn, standing about five feet, nine inches tall. She has golden scales and though they are clearly unpolished, they still radiate warmth. Her snout is wide and blunt, like the head of a hatchet and she has few visible horns or frills beneath her helm and black headwrap. A knot of brazen tendrils is held behind her head and falls to the nape of her neck.

Family Ties

Safaar belongs to Clan Sadek, an offshoot of the lineage of the Qosaar Adama. They are not exceptionally wealthy or as well-connected as many of the other Qosaari clans. They are descended from a consort of the Adama line, and as such their origins are both considered revered and of deep shame. That said, Clan Sadek has a strong tradition of military service and honorable conduct, which has allowed them to hold onto a position of power within the Qartagonian Emirates.

Religious Views

Like many Qartagonians, Safaar is a devout Kōsite. She even has a connection to Kōs through her lineage. As a Qosaariya, her ancestor, Adama was a member of the Coiled Hermit's trusted band of followers who recorded his teachings in Faal Stahdim Ven. However, while she is a member of the military culture of the Emirates, Safaar is cognizant of and an adherent to Kōsism's injunction towards peace between faiths, particularly towards the followers of the Heavenly Council. Some have called this a "hatchling's softness," yet Safaar remains steadfast in her belief that one cannot join with Kōs and commit atrocities against any being simply because they have not accepted the Coiled Hermit's teachings.
