Vestals of Porcia

The Vestals of Porcia are an order of acolytes dedicated to serving the goddess Porcia of the Heavenly Council through acts of charity to the poor. They are found throughout the world of Holos, though they are concentrated in urban areas where large numbers of impoverished mortals struggle to get by.

Structure

In Jeharoa, the Vestals oversee the Leper Moat, a leper hospital catering to the poorest religious pilgrims and permanent citizens that enter the Holy City.

Granted Divine Powers

The Vestals are considered acolytes and are thus not usually granted insight into the deeper divine powers granted to full priests of Porcia. However, they do have limited healing abilities and trained in basic medical care that is much needed by those they serve.
