A fleet of Palladian ships capture Solstice, then called Vénetorium, and establish a small naval base.
A fleet of Palladian ships did assault and capture Vénaetorium as a part of the Gladiator Wars. They established a small naval base on what is now the island of Ribialdi. During the nine year occupation, the Palladians managed to excavate a large deep water harbor for their triremes, as well as constructed the small fort which eventually became much of Solstice's city center.- From the History of Solstice
