Agita

Agita is a hooman anxiety disorder where the inflicted is in a constant state of distress or nervousness without apparent cause.
Agita most commonly develops in younglins, however, they will usually overcome it by the time they reach adolescence or adulthood.

Symptoms

The mental effects of Agita involve:
  • Feeling tense, nervous or unable to relax
  • Having a sense of dread, or fearing the worst
  • Feeling like you can't stop worrying, or that bad things will happen if you stop worrying
The physical effects of Agita involves:
  • Feeling light-headed or dizzy.
  • Having panic attacks.
  • Faster breathing.
  • Crying.

Treatment

There is no official treatment for Agita. With younglins, Facility Carers will do their best to ease the symptoms of the inflicted by comforting them or removing the younglin from situations that cause them distress. In adulthood, hoomans who are afflicted with it have to deal with it, resulting in them either making coping methods or just shutting themselves away to avoid things that might set it off.
