Nasgovian Pipis Bat

Nasgovian Pipis Bat is a type of microbat that lives on Nasgovia. Their diet consists of various insects and are usually only seen at night.   Pipis Bats are found both out in the countryside and the cities and Hoomans encourage their presence but building Bat Boxes and structures in their attics for the bats to roost in.

Appearance

Pipis Bats have dark brown fur, with lighter fur around their face. They have long, narrow wings which help it fly fast through the air to catch it's food.

Lifecycle

Like most bats, Pipis Bats will hibernate in the winter, and be more active in the spring and summer time.   The spring months are where the bats will begin to wake up from hibernation, and the females will begin to move in groups to materity roosts where they'll produce their young.The autumn months is the mating season for the Pipis bats and where they start to prepare for hibernation.

Reception

Hoomans are very fond of bats as they remind them of younglins with their small teeth, the Nasgovian Pipis bats being no exception. They attempt to bring in bat activity near their homes as it helps keep insect activity low, especially in the summer. They will keep an eye on the bats during the winter while they hibernate.   Edgevillians also find the Pipis bats cute.
