The Mastiff was designed to meet the needs for a multi-role heavy duty transport vehicle to move equipment, raw materials or personnel depending upon circumstances. This 6 wheel drive off road capability truck is capable of carrying several tonnes of personnel, equipment or materials.

Mechanics & Inner Workings
Hydro-Electric Power Cells provide the power source. Electrolysis within the fuel cell generates the power that drives the vehicles engine. The power cell requires servicing every 2 years to replace the catalysts. And the distilled water requires topping up every 3 months.
Electric-Motor provides the necessary drive to the Vehicle. It is a DC Motor allowing variable speed and torque control for different conditions.
Chromatic Paint on the vehicles allow the frame and body work to be recoloured at will by the operator. This can be used to help camouflage the vehicle. The onboard computer for the Mastiff stores a prefixed array of patterns.
Modular Cargo Compartment allows for a variety of configurations and carry capacities.

The Mastiff was designed to meet the early Horizon needs for a multi-role heavy duty transport vehicle to move equipment, raw materials or personnel depending upon circumstances. Like the other vehicles designed to be utilized in Horizon, the Mastiff has clean efficient hyrdo-electro power cells and an electro motor to move the heavy chassis.
The body of the Mastiff consists of a well made and armoured drivers cab that seats 3 people. The undersides and cargo compartment sides are reinforced to support heavy loads. The Cargo compartment is configured with 8 collapsible jump seats, in addition the compartment is setup to take equipment racks for weaponry or drones. The standard compartment is closed with an electo-chromatic fabric covering although a hard shell lid can be fitted instead.
