Tracking the White Moose

Expedition

The White Moose was tracked down and killed, the party made several new and unexpected friends and learned quite a bit about lost history.

The party tracked down and killed the White Moose, and the Druid Ravisin who created it. The druid was a fanatic dedicated to Auril the Frostmaiden.   During the expedition, the party discovered (we don't need to talk about how) a long lost mummy who was more than grateful to be able to get up and stretch. The mummy then gave a lengthy historical lesson on elven war, the blood war, and the netherese empire before it fell.   The party also had an (uncomfortable) encounter with a shrub who had been awakened by Ravisin, but who wanted absolutely nothing to do with her or a fight. He decided to follow along, much to the chagrin of the party.   They discovered that in the tomb itself, there was a scrying mirror. There was much debate on whether or not the mirror could be remade to be portable, but ultimately it was left where it was.   The party used the mirror to find the floating island of Auril the Frostmaiden, drifting in the sea of ice. They also peeked in at Caer-Dineval to find Speaker Crannoc held captive in his own keep, surrounded by what looked like cultists.
