The following article is a work in progress - Joe

During Ferdir religious services to The Creator this prayer is typically recited in a call and response from a Priest to the assembled congregation.   Priest: The Creator is...
Congregation: one will and one mind. We are chosen.
Priest:The Creator states...
Congregation: We are chosen guard the first faith.
Priest: The Creator warns...
Congregation: We are chosen, Do not falter by new gods.
Priest: The Creator tells...
Congregation: We are Chosen, remember the first faith. One will. One mind
Priest: The Creator warns...
Congregation: We were chosen, pressed and tried, through faith in the Creator. Service to the divine, rewarded with eternal life.

Structure

The priests of the Church are separated by ranks that typically ascribe to seniority of time served. The more time a priest has been working within the Church, the more senior their rank.  The majority of the priests hold the rank of Surnar and wear some combination of red and green robes. The signifigance of the color is dependent on their role. Green robed priests are responsible for internal Church Logistics, eclesiastic education, religious services for civilians, record keeping and religious research. They represent the "Green Eye of Wisdom." Red robed priests work directly with the Ferdir ah' Dain military they conduct battlefield blessings, assist with strategy, plan expeditions for relic retrieval and accompany some military regiments into battle. They represent the "Red Eye of Wrath."

Assets

Well funded by the state of the Ferdir Ah' Dain and providing the only eclisiastical support to the Ferdir ah' Dain military the Church of the Creator has direct or approximate control over the entire culture of the Ferdir Ah Dain. The Leader of the church, Alabriat Brightstar has direct control over which assets are assigned to the church and how the church may choose to utilize them. From gold, ships, soldiers and swords, the Church of the creator if well funded and outfitted.

History

Founded and led by Alabriat Brightstar the reclusive and mysterious Ferdir has been instrumental and steadfast in his development of the church since its inception. While the foundation date of the Church is somewhat unknown, that Brightstar has led the church since its inception is unquestioned.     According to church parables, the church was first founded by Brightstar when he recieved a vision as a child. The one God, the Creator, spoke to him and provided a clear vision of the world unified in glorious song. To provide proof of his vision the Creator gifted him with a Holy Relic called the Eye of the Creator. Using his relic and the story of his vision the young Brightstar became the prophet of the creator and began to build up the membership of the church.    Quickly growing in popularity among the Ferdir Ah' Dain the Church quickly supplanted all other previous religious and spiritual traditions. The church grew over the next several thousand years to be the primary cultural and religious pillar of the Ferdir Ah' Dain.   The Church of the creator eventually established a culture of faith, obedience and purity. Guiding all members towards acts of faith and assistance to one another. As time has progressed and the Church has grown the resources they can provide to their worshipers have grown in kind. Unchallenged by outside interference due to the natural isolation of the Kingdom of Frozen Lords the Church of the creator became the only religious tradition available in the area.    Having control of an entire population provided the Church with acess to tremendous resources. As the population grew and the Ferdir Ah' Dain expanded their civilization the Church subjigated or conquered many indigenous population to the northern continent. Few records exist regarding the species and ancestries that were laid waste by the Church and the Ferdir ah' Dain military but they are believed to contain a population of Dwarves and several ancient dragons.     Currently the Church of the Creator controls the officers and directives of the Ferdir ah' Dain military in their quest to bring the Creator's will to the rest of Huld.

Mythology & Lore

What follows is a translation of a Church document smuggled out of the Kingdom of Frozen Lords. It is believed this creation myth is no longer current in Church traditions or services.

"The Elven, molded by the Creator to guard Huld. Ever Faithful in the watchful embrace of the brightest star the Creator's Chosen serve for all time, ever faithful. Those that turn away from the star are not lost, tricked and decieved they were. Becoming docile by the false gods. The Chosen traveled north following the song of the star. Fleeing from the broken world. The Creator bade them protect each other in the frozen north and follow the teachings of the Brightstar."   Little else is known specifically regarding the inner workings of the Church of the Creator specifically, but the services that have been observed focus on several key tennents. They believe that conflict is the most efficient form of balance, in the same way that predators balance prey. According to several Church sermons, if an opponent is worthy of survival then they will defeat the Ferdir army. Very few armies have been able to accomplish this goal.

Worship

The creation of religious art is very common within the Church. Many members of the Generiat title spend their entire lives producing massive works of religious observance through painting, sculpture, music and poetry. Two common themes that exist within artwork made for the Church are the "Green Eye of Wisdom" and the "Red eye of Wrath".
The “Green Eye of Wisdom” is represented in the creation myth as a holy symbol. The image of a green eye represents thoughts and wisdom of the Creator.   The “Red eye of Wrath” is a Holy Symbol in Ferdir Mythology. The image of a red eye is meant to represent the wrath and desire for Ferdir superiority
