Queen Emma Leanora Kubler (a.k.a. The Mad Queen of Mercury)
Queen Emma Kubler was the first and last queen of Mercury, and sometimes called 'the last true Hermian' She grew up at the height of Mercury's forced isolation after Earth Went dark, and encouraged the anti-Interplanetary Governance Council sentiment in Hermes base. She made powerful friends during her education at the Hermian Academy of Science, and would eventually trigger the Hermian war after using her contacts to defy interplanetary law and create illegal machines on Mercury's surface. The war ended when she fled into interstellar space after winning her first battle with relative ease and minimal casualties. She later returned from the star Sirius, and began the first Interstellar war against the Interplanetary Governance Council She died in 342, when she kamikazed her ship into the moon Ganymede. Queen Kubler was 93 years old. The Queen was alive 101 years chronologically, but lived only 93 due to the time dilation she experienced whilst traveling between star systems.
The famed Queen had very few personal attachments throughout her life, although many suspect she developed a close relationship with Travis O'Connor during their shared stay at the Hermian Academy of Science. Many psychologists have attempted to make posthumous diagnoses on the 'Mad Queen' and most agree that she suffered from mild schizophrenia, or some other emotional disorder. This was likely caused by the small gene pool available at Hermes Base, which was cut off from the outside world for over a hundred years. The Mad Queen's Mania showed itself early in her life, as she demonstrated a fascination with illegal technology and the development of robotics. She used her relationship with Travis O'Connor to create these machines, and would later kidnap him again, and force him to develop her the advanced B.A.B.E. starships she would use to assault the Solar System. The illegal Self Replicating Robots her attacks left behind plague the Solar System to this day. But the greatest impression the Mad Queen left behind her was upon the Jovian system, as her final battle completely cut of the planet from travel with trillions of pieces of debris. Billions of humans died in the Jovian system, mostly of @Ganymede , which the Queen rendered completely uninhabitable by crashing her last surviving starship into it after she had lost sway in the battle.
The Mad Queen's life is seen in modern life as the unfortunate catalyst of most of the Solar System's dynamics, and her personal hisstory a great tragedy of the century.

Queen Emma Leonora Kublers was born in 241 to King Gherard Kubler and his wife, whom history does not name. She lived her earliest years under the iron first of Mercury's military regime, at The Hermian Academy of Science under the planet's surface. She likely didn't see much of her parents, and they were only ever seen together at state functions. Queen Emma spent most of her early life, before inheriting the Hermian throne, at the Hermian Academy of Science, where she learned Astrophysics, Socionics, and basic strategic theory. During her first year at the Academy, Emma Kubler was challenged to a duel by her engineering teacher, who accused her of cheating but could produce no proof. The Princess won this duel, killing her teacher. In the process, her left arm was mangled beyond recognition. No documentation has bee found of this duel. She replaced her arm with a bionic, designed when Emma Kubler was in her third year by the new student Travis O'Connor. The two would form a close friendship. The princess would form close bonds with many of her other classmates as well, and would later use these connections to earn her a strong standing among Hermes' valuable scientific societies. The Queen herself was little more than an average student, but excelled at creatively solving complex problems.
Emma's father died when she was 27, and she ascended the Hermian throne. Her father's death left her without an important emotional stabilizer, as she and her father had very similar temperaments. Queen Kubler's mother was a dissatisfied, haughty woman, and most believe she had a negative impact on the young Queen's emotional makeup.
After ascending to the Hermian throne, Queen Kubler spent over 40 years in relative peace on mercury's surface, developing illegal technologies in secret, and fostering Hermes base's antigovernmental bias. Her peace was shattered when her mother died at 104, when the Queen was 70 years old. Some incident in the Queen and her mother's parting must have been extremely bitter, as the Queen isolated herself from the other humans in Hermes base for 17 days after the event. When she emerged, her psychosis had reached a critical level, and she began to put years worth of emotional turmoil into use. The Queen's schemes were combined with the technology she had developed, including space-grade fusion drives, Self Replicating Robots, and gamma ray lasers. Using these, she formed her plot. Scientists led by Travis O'Connor protested her actions, and were jailed for their concerns. The Queen used Travis O'Connor's Self Replicating Robots to increase Mercury's production of metals 10 fold in a few short years, and began construction on a massive Gamma-Laser, and the Heart of Gold, which would eventually be her flagship. The Queen's plans for the Solar System worked flawlessly, as can be read in the Journey to the Stars, section 11. The Queen's original intent was likely to escape to the Star Sirius with her contingent of loyal scientists. From there she build herself a robotic empire, using Travis O'Connor's technology. But the development of her psychological conditions made her change her mind sometime during the 20 year journey towards Sirius.
Not much, if anything, can be determined form the Queen's time outside the Solar System, as ICG surveillance is still classified and the Queen's ships weren't detected on a return trajectory until 337. The Queen likely left some of her Hermian Scientists, around the star Sirius, and no expeditions have been launched to date to probe what may be a rival empire to the Interplanetary Governance Council. It is known that the Queen's agents kidnapped Travis O'Connor sometime after he faked his death, and that she forced him to update the designs for her Self Replicating Robots before the War of Stars. Travis O'Connor was on the Queen's flagship during the Battle of Ganymede, and was one of only three Hermian survivors. Queen Kubler would order her flagship to crash into Ganymede's surface at the battle's end, when she realized defeat was inches away. Her last act sentenced over 10 million Ganymedian colonists to death, and her name is remembered with hatred and regret throughout most of the Solar System.

Motivation
Queen Emma Kubler was motivated by perceived injustices she and her planet had received from the Solar System. She felt abandoned after the death of her father, and entirely unprepared to defend herself in what she saw as a hostile Solar System. The culture she grew up in had taught her that Earth had done much of the same thing to Mercury when Earth went dark in 180, and the Queen drew an unnecessary correlation between these two events. She targeted her anger from the death of her father, and the mistreatment she received from her mother, at the organized government of the Solar System, choosing to blame them for all her problems rather than her parents of grandparents, who were dead.
