National Helmet

The National Helmet (Glushéb Nyér̂va in elvish) is an elite force tasked with protecting the newly established tri-species government.    Headed by vice generals from varying units who fought during the hybrid revolt, the members have extensive battle experience and training in various forms of combat along with strategy, espionage, weapons maintenance, and area security, among other particulars of each person. In total, the unit is comprised of two thousand troops. Generals were not selected as they instead became leaders of the new nation's military under the Small Council. From the seven, they select one from among themselves to represent the group and have final say during conflicts (High Armorer )   Their primary purpose is to protect the Garden of Laws and government officials while they perform their official duties. They are also responsible for guarding the immediate family of any officials. These roles are split between the members of the Helmet, with the majority assigned to the protection of the Garden of Laws, approximately 1200 spread among the main building and satellite offices. The remaining 800 are assigned to members of the Small and Large Councils, along with the Luzhasvumekt.

Composition

Structure

The two thousand members are divided into sub structures based on experience and rank. At the top are seven vice generals, each heading one seventh of the Helmet. Each vice general holds equal power. Four units are focused directly on the protection of the Garden of Laws while the remaining three are spread among the protection of council members.    Each unit is comprised of approximately 285-300 soldiers. Under the vice general are 3 lieutenants who each command 80-100 troops depending on the size of the unit. Directly under a lieutenant is a captain in charge of ten soldiers, who are the lowest rank within the Helmet structure. However, this does not mean they are inexperienced. All current members of the Helmet fought in the Hybrid Revolt. When new recruits are eventually added, ones too young to have found in the revolt, they will need to have extensive training and military experience before being considered.
