My old Huntmaster sat astride her throne of bleached bones at the far end of the cathedral, grasping the armrests of Feylasi skulls in shrunken hands. As I walked towards her between the carved ravines of ichorous, steaming blood, our eyes met, as they had countless times over our decades of service together. I searched those amber pools for the familiar, comforting warmth, for the caring heart that had once been my home. It was long gone, and all that remained was that cold steel, twisted and forged into diamond-hard hatred. She grinned at me, chapped and withered face contorting into a sad approximation of what had once been my favorite sight on Hylos. The look did not reach her eyes, nor her hands reaching for her old blades, and I braced myself, knowing only one of us would leave this place alive.

Silena Rhaspor was a Paleshear Feylasi who shaped the Fourth Era, or Verging Age, during her 155 years of life. The first among the five founders of The Hunt, today she is most commonly remembered for the Fall of Rhaspor - a series of events spanning her final century of life, beginning with schisms within the Hunt, and ending with the rise of the Gateway as a global threat.
