Deku Scrub

Deku Scrubs are small sentient plant beings, known for spitting seeds and Deku Nuts at perceived threats, as well as their business entrepreneurship.

Anatomy

Deku Scrubs bodies have a wood-like skin. Leaves, vines, and other flora serve as "hair" and "clothing." They have large, bright orange eyes. They have permanently open "mouths" that give them a perpetual "O" face.

Ecology and Habitats

Deku Scrubs are typically found in areas of lush vegetation, such as forests and fields. However, they have also been known to inhabit underground caves or the rocky mountains.

Deku Scrubs are found in a wide variety of numbers. They can live solitary, or in small groups, or in a clan with numbers reaching near 100. Large clans are often ruled by a royal family.

Deku Scrub's wood-like skin is brown. The leaves on their bodies range from green to yellow to red.
