Royal Family of Hyrule

The Royal Family of Hyrule is a long-running bloodline of Hylians, who have been and currently are acting rulers of the Kingdom of Hyrule. The dynasty of the Royal Family have been ruling for many millennia. While the lands of Hyrule are named after the founding family, that namesake has since left the Royal Family, with the current regime having the surname "Roland." Keeping a close contact with the other leaders and races within the Kingdom of Hyrule, they rule over the land with the most prominent authority.
Colloquially, the term "Royal Family" is synonymous with the Kingdom of  Hyrule's royal court and court members.  This can sometimes be confusing as many—if not the majority—of the court members aren't related (by blood or by law) to the king and/or queen.
