Assassination Attempt of Tyroth Attar

Life, Crime

73rd day of Grave 12049 A.H.

Assassins attempted to kill new Gerudo King, Tyroth Attar. They failed, were apprehended, and sent to the Prison of Buliara.

Just a mere 2 weeks after Gerudo King Tyroth Attar's existence was made public, two assassins (one Hylian, one Human) posed as merchants and entered the city walls of Riju. They stayed there for 2 days selling wares and trading goods. They were able to find a seam in the Gerudo Palace guards' watch, and were able to infiltrate the palace. From a balcony, each fired a crossbow bolt at Tyroth. One of the arrows missed and struck a nearby tree, but one struck him in the right forearm. He survived, but has scars and the entry and exit points.

The assassins are currently serving their sentence in the Prison of Buliara. King Tyroth, in an display of diplomacy, stayed their executions and instead reduced it to a life sentence (although some see a sentence to Buliara as a practically a death sentence). The assassins believe they were doing the righteous work of the gods in order to prevent the rise of a new evil Prince of Darkness. They also think that they should've used an bolt made of silver because "that would've finished off the current vessel of Ganondorf."
