Notes & Lore from 10/30 Session

General Summary

Notes & Lore from 10/30 Session https://www.worldanvil.com/w/hytaegia-zc72/map/a62c13e6-cb82-4104-bbdc-60bcc1b76d56   Updated Maps and Charts of the Area   The collection of charts found among the possessions of the fallen Drow include charts and notes that will give a +1 circumstance bonus when used for:   Profession (Sailing)   Knowledge (Local)   Survival Checks (While Sailing)   Checks while in the area, assuming access to the bulky and lengthy notes   You find Ledgers & Journals detailing business dealings between the Order of the Broken Bolt (Yamami’s group) and a cabal of Drow.   Of note: They have been working together for over a year   The Drow are trafficking in surface slaves and need a lot. They are behind the disappearances and sadly, it is implied that the slaves have been taken to a secret location referenced obliquely as “The Underbog”   The Drow have been performing similar abductions all along the Snarltooth Coast, even in Edarhyne   It is heavily implied that the Drow Serve a Demonic Master   The Order of the Broken Bolt is in financial trouble and this is why they have worked with the Drow. In the past they have been extremely secretive   Thomas Blackwood was secretly a high level Lieutenant in the Order (equal to Yamami’s rank) and was infiltrating the town in an effort to get into the Library, where information he sought was hidden, regarding the location of the “Underbog”   They had recently come into possession of a powerful artifact, a mysterious tome, warded with many protective charms and obviously ancient in origin. Yamami’s most trusted acolyte believes the tome once belonged to the first Millenial Avatar.   They have the mechanism from the lighthouse on the Mysterious Isle but sent it ahead to Kar Binost, where their organization has its HQ   Starseed Research:   All (stolen from the Order of the Crescent) notes on the Starseed from the Mysterious Isle Dungeon - in an unintelligible code -   An account of the storm from a Broken Bolt Spy who was sailing nearby - he describes it as “sudden and unnatural” and that he swore he “saw the shadow of a god in the sky” whatever that means   A blueprint for the type of container already held by the party, designed by an alchemist/tinkerer to make moving and containing the Starseed safe.
