Captain Torvald Broski
Captain Torvald Broski (a.k.a. Cap'n Broski)
The Shapeshifter Incident
Originally framed for the attempted murder of Fasha Kintaeri by a presumed trio of Doppelgangers, the Fasha and Nebuchazzar's Tallowmen took no delay in locating Torvalf Broski, who had only just recently been attacked and captured by a group of Kobolds in an old, long-buried temple in The Sump, after promptly being rescued by The Party from these kobolds, a Tallowmen dispatched to capture Torvald located him and brought him to the Tallow Gallows. Interrogated by both The Party and Fasha Kintaeri for the crime he had supposedly committed, Torvald's innocence was accepted by both Jim Rask and the Fasha, yet she insisted that someone must hang for the crime or else she be perceived as weak. Upon her request, The Party was asked and tasked with proving Torvald's innocence and bringing to the Fasha the one's truly guilty for this crime. In the meantime, Torvald would be brought into the Fasha's personal dungeon for 'safekeeping' and his unjust death sentence was delayed. It took only a matter of days for The Party to apprehend the doppelganger attackers, who had turned out to be thieves rather than assassins. This was of little consequence to the Fasha however, and the apprehended thieves were sentenced to Death, whilst Torvald's freedom was granted in due haste. The night before the thieves execution, however, they escaped, with the assistance of 'Lulu'. Fortunately for Torvald, he was not brought back into chains and his freedom remained, though the lockdown and curfew surrounding Djaal would now continue further on, until the shapeshifters were captured, killed or they could afford to bar the gates no longer. Shortly after this, Captain Torvald Broski would resign from his position, along with a number of his subordinates, unwilling to work any longer under those that would claim the life of someone who had committed no crime.Veteran
