Rudolph Hauel

A warrior of Good Mead who "followed the Old Way of Tempus" and perished during the Verbeeg encounter.
The party defeated the Verbeeg and his Ogre friend. Rudolph lost his sword mid-battle and engaged in fisticuffs with a polar bear. He was mauled, and shortly afterwards, a Verbeeg woman stomped his corpse in agony of her lost lover. Ambrose found these among Rudolph's belongings:

  1. A holy text "The Scribe of Tempus", old, passed down for generations with his family crest: "A crow screeching fire with daggers piercing its wings."
  2. 30cp
  3. A letter from his daughter Van, a plea for her estranged father to return to the Lonelywood to be there, to give the Rites of Tempus. Clearly, the religion of Tempus is a lonely one, Rudolph was a fanatic, and the daughter was making an appeal for him to be there. Under the letter, the betrothed name of "Mr Ord" is circled. Clearly Rudolph's hatred for the man runs deep.
