Child Rancis

A cultist of Auril, Child Rancis is one of the most vocal about his faith and disgust in the townsfolk of Bryn Shander. Child Rancis wholeheartedly believes that if everyone worshiped Auril and a human sacrifice was made regularly, Auril would lift the Rime.
He vocally calls for the deaths of anyone suspected of dodging the lottery every month, and praises the killer who has been murdering the people of Ten-Towns. He claims the victims were cheating Auril out of her dues and that a "Cold-Eyed Avenger" has claimed their souls for the Frostmaiden.
Child Rancis is a thin man, with overly large gray eyes and blue-tinged skin as if he were in the late stages of hypothermia. He walks slightly hunched over and allows his cloak to billow in the wind, something that the townsfolk say adds to his air of insanity.
