AllPoints Village
The village of AllPoints is a relatively small town of little note save for being built on the intersection of North/South travelling "Old Road' and East/West "Kings Road." Both roads run unerringly flat and straight towards the four horizons and are paved in stone by long forgotten people. Nothing is known of the mysterious road builders, leastways why they decided the best place for the crossroads of the continent's two main thoroughfares would be the middle of nowhere. At any rate, only the occasional unearthed trinket gives any hint to the existence of the people that lived here before.
Despite its name, AllPoints has never managed to live up to its potential. Comprised of only a handful of shops and homes surrounded by a few dozen stubborn farmsteads, AllPoints has the unfinished feel of a frontier settlement despite existing for many generations. Matters aren't helped by the fact that larger and more vibrant towns exist a day's journey in any direction. Many of AllPoints' youth flee toward these destinations rather than face the same hardscrabble existence of their parents.
Travellers and traders barely take notice of the sad little town, as they know AllPoints has little to offer and even less to trade. Seen as a way station on the road to and from bigger places, it's only the unlucky or unprepared who end up spending a significant amount here.

Government
The village of AllPoints resides within and owes allegiance the kingdom of Grendalia. The town is run locally by the standing mayor and a volunteer council. If time permits, major decisions may be put to a vote by the adults of the village.
Defences
Sheriff Stone and his deputies handle day to day issues, mostly involving drunk and disorderly behavior. A posse may be raised in the event of a bigger crisis. There is an ill-equipped and ill-trained militia that stands as the last line of defense. Aside from that the residents of AllPoints either hunker down or ride to the next town over should any invasive force decide to attack their village.
Industry & Trade
AllPoints was founded and survives as a farming and trapping community. Traffic along the twin roads provides for some trade, but the residents of AllPoints can rarely afford all but the most basic commodities from abroad. There is a limited mining industry run by the resident dwarven community, and there had been a decent logging trade before the mill caught fire.

Assets
A handful of stone silos are used to collect grain for the winter months and in times of drought. There is limited surplus of money for the operation of munincipal services.
Guilds and Factions
The center of town is what passes for the thriving heart of AllPoints, and is where you will find what businesses it has to offer.
A small population of dwarves operate a few small mines that mostly produce coal and iron.
Farmers make up the largest group, and are growers of produce and livestock.
History
AllPoints was founded over three-hundred years ago. The first permanent structure was a trading post erected by the self proclaimed first mayor of AllPoints, Elias Kreel. A huckster and con-man of limited note, he was still convincing enough to encourage a community of trappers and farmers to settle in his new village. AllPoints has managed to exist at the crossroads for several centuries. No one knows what the road builders had in mind for the site, but it's likely they would be underwhelmed with the result. There are legends of ancient structures hidden in the nearby TangleWyld Forest, but these remain unconfirmed.
Architecture
The architecture of AllPoints is utilitarian and simple. Mud and wattle farm houses as well as clapboard structures. The town seems temporary despite its age. Buildings are repaired or replaced as need be, and new construction is exceedingly rare.
The newest structure is the Hangry Chimera Inn, erected by retired adventure Argus Trageth.
Geography
The most notable feature is the crossroads. The climate is temperate, but seasonal. Northwest of town is the edge of the TangleWyld Forest, a dense and mysterious wood that spans hundreds of miles. To the Southwest is Dunn Loche. The East is rolling hills broken up by eruptions of random spikes of granite.
Natural Resources
Grains, vegetables, and tubers from the rocky farmland. Wool, leather, meat and eggs. Dunn Loche can support a recreational level of fishing. Iron and coal can be found in the mines. The tangleWyld supports a hunting and trapping trade, and could support a logging industry if anyone had the resources to rebuild the sawmill. Fresh water is easily available from wells and various streams as well as the Loche.
