General Summary
Sailing and ICARUS Warning:
As they sail away, they receive a warning from ICARUS about the dangers ahead. They spot large fins in the water, realizing they are teeth.
A whirlpool appears, signifying more threats.
Arriving at Teki Kuam:
The group is greeted warmly by the Afi Toa at Teki Kuam. Kane is recognized and honored.
They receive a "kākāʻōlelo hele" or counsel pass, allowing them to speak among the elders.
Reuniting with Old Friends and Preparing for Battle:
Kane reunites with old friends and prepares for a feast and hunt to celebrate his return.
The group engages in various activities, including hunting and celebrating at the beach.
Confronting the False Prophet:
Kane learns about a false prophet claiming to be Pele Ahi.
The party hikes up Mount Kami on the journey they fight the kuluwajak. Yuki vanishes into water after growing wings and becoming an Aasimar.
They get to the top of the mountain and Kane enters the city. Lorian and TB are kidnapped by cannibalistic sea elves.
Kane walks into the lava and meets an Afi (or fire giant) who is nursing the flames of the volcano. He then gives kane the fabled sword of kami.
Kane emerges and claims to be Pele Ahi.
He must navigate village dynamics and gain the trust of religious leaders.
The Kane prepares to expose the false prophet and restore faith in the true savior.
Meanwhile TB, Lorian, and their new friend Hawthorne fight an aboleth that the cannibals were going to sacrifice them to.
They kill it and Riot Rackham picks them up, they encounter mermaids as they sail around Tahi'Ona.
Hawthorne joins Riot's crew and TB and Lorian reunite with Mako and Axel.
