The Queen's War

The Queen's War is considered the bloodiest conflict in Idyllia's history. It was waged between the Royal Family lead by Queen Roth and radical republicans who sought to abolish the monarchy. Villages were forced to pick a side in the conflict so causing the Queen to issue edicts appealing to certain villages to avoid their defection. Ultimately, a majority of villages sided with the republicans with some major villages with a strong clergy siding with the nobility.
