Jotun Ridders
The Jotun Ridders are the mortal servants of the Nordlig Rad and the "Jotun's" way of interacting with mortals.
These men and women are given access to some of the magics and raw might of their lieges, in exchange for serving them unquestioningly and with full commitment. Accordingly, whenever a decision is made by the Council, the Jotun Ridders will set out to put this decision into action, going so far as to burn down entire nations and disregarding the consequences of their actions on the mortal realms ("for what do the Jotun's care about the affairs of mortals"). This zeal and forcefulness has earned these knights a certain reputation and when contingent of them shows up somewhere, they are immediately noticed and either asked to join the ruler's table for negotiations, or warned that they are to leave (the city, the immediate area or even the country).
