The High Life

THe Cointoss? Yeah, I've been here for a long long time. You see, this town is small, but with a bit of imagination, lots of drinks and even more money, you can find pleasure here for a seemingly unlimited amount of time!

History

When you get around here for long enough, the people here tell stories about the purpose of this town before it turned this fun. It used to be called "Kaaras Ruin", after the legendary Slaughterer Kaaras cleared the neighboring dungeon with his Soulventure all on their own. The "Coins" as they are now known as, built their little town right next to their biggest accomplishment and lived here together with their friends, retiring after clearing the surrounding area of Fog.

Original Purpose

Kaaras and his companions originally wanted this town to flourish and grow it over time, but it is said that with the insane growth of Vaporio right next to their little village, their plan to attract more citizens failed the conventional way, so they had to come up with a different approach.

Birth of the Cointoss

The "Coins" fittingly rebranded their town to the "Cointoss" and with their amassed welath built various casino attractions, a red light district and even repurposed the ruin to a themed amusement park. This pleasure outlet was not yet a thing in Vaporio and thus people flocked over to let off some steam and party here, slowly migrating businesses and workers to the town. We as visitors love the Cointoss because it has always been authentic and innovative. Also, I think it's good to get out of the city from time to time.

Visitors

From what I talked to locals with, I think around 300 people live and work here permanently, while visitors are often seen in the thousands from all across the realm. We sometimes see a hundred Ironsprocket workers come after a long shift to play some cards and Gearshire scientists indulging in some bizarre fantasies of theirs **who knows what they are up to honestly**. Some outpost workers and guards are also regulars here, but the main customers are obviously people like me, those from the main city.
