Mr. Rox As A Person
Mr. Rox is definitely a strange soul, very reclusive most of the time, but a charismatic one when in public, muscular and well built, but one of the slowest Soulweavers. He, together with the other Rox Founders was the first person to step foot into Ignotas.Magical Appearance
Mr. Rox is a dark skinned Kalashtar with hair as white as a flashbangs light and grey eyes as endless as the Fog itself. He is partly covered from neck to toe with tattoos, depicting battles, weapons, trinketry and more. He says it is a mural of the people. Where to begin? Mr. Rox was the founder of this world. He built the Rox Guild, their Academics section, instantiated Soulventures and got them to where they are, is at the forefront of Trinketry work and has made so many technological inventions that this small document simplfy won't do him justice. While he is busy with documentary work most of the time, he is able to delegate some of the work to his co-founders and pursue research in the various fields in his spare time. His co-founding friends, Hieren, Sharrel, Selenia, Aabriar and Revia all have equal parts to play in the prospering of Ignotas, though Mr. Rox is the face of the operation.Behaviour & Mannerism
Mr. Rox, though I hate to admitt it, acts a bit like the uncle that wants to be cool with the young kids, but comes off as a tad bit too forced and creepy. Paired with the wisdom of a war veteran, the body of a smithy and the knowledge of an arch-scholar. In official settings, he stays frank and delivers news, good or bad, in a professional manner. In leisure, he often wants to fit in with the younger ones and, if you're lucky, talks without end about the times before the emergence of this world.You know, I once was in one of those "dungeons" and found some rad old tech with my gf at the time. From then on, I was the big shot around the parts, cuz we were able to fuckin' grow some crops hella fast, yo.
Drive
I imagine you wouldn't build an entire world without wanting something great. Though I think that the will for the people to live a happy life only comes secondary to Mr. Rox. His primary goal has always been and will always be the pursuit of the unknown. He loves this world and wants the people to flourish in it because of its beauty. Lots of people live with a constant uneasiness, knowing the fog is a dangerous place. Lots of people feel defenseless because the magic of the old world is gone and the environment if more ferocious than ever imagined. He however thrives on the thoughts of what might yet lie out there. What wonders will await the Soulventures that walk the path he so desperately wants to see for himself, and what can he create with the things they bring back to him? That is what Elijah Artemus Rox drives.
