The Five Dukes of the Underworld
Ruled by one of the gods referred to only as the Forgotten One, there are five archdevils, or Dukes of the Underworld, that answer to His will and commands.
Little is known about these incredibly powerful figures, aside from the three remaining in the Material Plane each having carved out a section of Imea for themselves. Each area is populated by the demons and devils brought through, the members of the cult, their unholy offspring, and poor unwitting souls bound into slavery. Since magic was sealed from the world, little is known about the Duke who remained in the Underworld and his mysterious master.
Any texts with information on the Forgotten One have been lost. Pre-Shattering, what information existed was sparse, with those who studied the subject developing sudden memory problems.
One of the archdevils was slain by a group of valiant heroes present for the Euridaye festival, and in killing him, stopped the final archdevil passing through with his mysterious master.
