Brahmsgrov
Brahmsgrov is an awe-inspiring captial, perhaps one of the most intricate and history-filled cities in all of Illica. It is a port-city-turned-metropolis that attracts sailors, pilgrims, and adventurers from every region of the Salamander Coast. The endless seas are the only thing to dwarf the city's many towers and pathways, many of which are etched into the regions expansive mountainside. The tallest tower in the city is a mythic relic, a keep of sorts designed to hold something known as the First Flame, or Nabir Tarmon. Many people make their way to Brahmsgrov just to see this tower, whether it be for religious observance or just to see a once-in-a-lifetime wonder that stands over a thousand feet tall. Visitors are often allowed to witness the flame, and it is said to bring a feeling of true peace.
Brahmsgrov also serves as a gathering place for politicians. Occasionally, a council is called to meet from across the Salamander Coast to discuss border disputes, economic concerns, or even to dissolve the possibilities of war. It is one of the only neutral lands in all of the continent, one that often bears witness to history. Fortunately, most of the councils that have been held at Brahmsgrov end peacefully. Perhaps it's hard to remain wrapped up in the problems of your home when standing in one of the most massive cities ever created.

Guilds and Factions
Gold Protects
That is the motto of a group as old as Brahmsgrov, The Golden Shields. While outwardly they serve as a private military to the highest bidder, in this city they work covertly as a guild of Thieves and Assassins. Those working in the group have already sharpened their skills to a fine point.History
Long ago paladins of Pelor discovered Pelors fire burning in the mountains that separate Brahmsgrov and the rest of Belaklara. The fire is said to never die out from rain or wind and never spread into the destruction of the land. From that point on it was a tradition that to prove a paladins loyalty to Pelor they would take a journey through the mountains to find Pelor's fire and light the only torch they were allowed to bring and take it to Brahmsgrov then present the torch to the Czar The torch would be brought to the giant hearth in the castle that is the only other location that burns Pelor's fire. Present-day tradition is no longer a requirement it's debated as being a myth. Some well-known paladins claim to have found the fire and brought it to the czar but those could easily be false claims. No one has seen the original fire source or the second source in the castle for ages. Some claim the Czar's are trying to protect the fire in the castle by claiming it doesn't exist anymore while others believed it was never real. It's not uncommon for people to go looking but no one has found or seen any proof.
