High Elvish

High Elvish, commonly referred to simply as Elvish, is widely accepted as the oldest of the Mortal Languages and is still often used among civilizations of elves and other civilizations who have more ancient roots. Many of the younger languages can trace their roots back to High Elvish, or some dialect of it.

Though more widely debated, it is agreed upon that High Elvish originated on the Igoa continent prior to the First Age in the Nahorei civilizations and was brought to the rest of the world during their crusades for the Indrotyl, known as the Idillic Odyssies.
