The Church to the Emissary

Bestowed upon humanity by the Creator, an Emissary from the Heavens whom created the very world, moons and stars. The Creator forged the blade and imbued it with the Essence of the stars to create the Halcyon, a blade with an insurmountable amount of Essence but Essence which can only be used for good. The blade is said to be able to bring peace to the world, said to reveal itself only to the righteous and to only be wieldable by the worthy. The blade is said to shine with the light of a thousand stars with its light bringing out the inner peace of anyone to bear witness to it. The Creator, concerned with the bloodlust of certain humans, gave humanity the Halcyon as a means to advance humanity towards a golden age of loving and acceptance, however, those who did not bask in its light soon plotted to take the blade for themselves. The blade was stolen from humanity by the forces of darkness and thus the golden age ended. Fortunately the Halcyon had a failsafe for such an incident, it was granted sentience and the ability to use its own Essence for its own means. As such, once captured, the Halcyon began to manipulate space and time, destroying its captors and their city and vanishing from humanity, vowing to only reappear to those worthy of holding it and only to those who are at peace with themselves and the world. It is said that the day will come in which the blade will reappear and bring forth a new age of peace and prosperity. The Churches are built in a circular fashion they, appear as roofed colosseum structures with a large steeple/bell tower on the Northern side. Congregations involve the priest standing central to the delegation to create a sense of equality; he/she will also rotate themselves between hymns and prayers so that he/she faces every member of the delegation equally. The walls surrounding the structure are made from ornate stonework by master artisans of their time and host large stained glass windows which depict the legend of the blade.
