Into the Great Plains

Leaving the Range Bow behind, Cinnead, Brach, Weston Castleswift, Arghbahd, and North Carolina ventured into the great plains of Illium. Their destination was to be Haelbram, a town described by Tamantha as a hub for travelers. along the east side of the continent. The journey there took several days and proved perilous to the travelers.
Marveling at the wildlife all around--the great Horse Lords in particular--Weston fell into a great hole in the ground. Weston soon determined the hole to be the den of a giant multi-headed adder ). In a a narrow escape, Weston was pulled to safety by his compatriots, though not before receiving severe injuries to the ribs and a broken leg. The adder attempted to chase the party, but several of the Horse lords abruptly ended its existence. The party looked on in horror as they learned that the Horse lords fed on the local serpents.
Upon arrival in Haelbram, the adventuring party determined that some sort of event or ritual was ongoing.
